Yarr! Talk Like a Pirate Day be a comin’!
September the 19th each year is Talk Like a Pirate Day. That doesn't mean gio round saying "Lets make a copy of your DVD collection and sell it on Ebay" but the old fashioned Long John Silver talk, "Yoo hoo hoo and a bottle of rum matey"!
There's a full list of rules how to talk like a pirate and here's an example : Instead of saying "I am", sailors say, "I be". Instead of saying "You are", sailors say, "You be". Instead of saying, "They are", sailors say, "They be". Ne'er speak in anythin' but the present tense!
