Write a Novel in 30 Days?
Could you write a 50,000 (175 page) novel in one month exactly? Every year, from November 1st to November 30th this happens. it started in 1999 with 21 participants and 6 winners. Last year 59,000 people started and 9,769 finished. That is over 500 million words written in one month! Wow…
Of course no one is saying these are great novels. This is for fun. It's not Pop Star, Pop Idol etc and there's no winners publishing contract but you do get an official Winner Web Icon and a certificate. Anyone who completes is a winner.
But if you're considering writing a book this is one way to get started. And several of the past winners have had their books published.
