Worlds Highest er Tallest website!
This wrongly named (we'll come to that in a minute!) website is 11.769 miles high. If miles have any real meaning on a screen. The designer is a CSS and html expert and wanted to show off the simples, tallest website using the simplest possible layout. It is a very tall site. Unless it's physically located on the highest webserver (in the Himalays?), though I doubt if highest is strictly true!
However the designer is German and I suspect got tallest and highest confused. It's an easy mistake to make as you measure how tall something is by its height. I remember learning German at school- the difference betwen "Ich bin warm" and "mir ist warm" is subtle- the latter means you are feling warm, the former means that you are in a state of arousal! (I'm hot!)
