World Bank Street Addressing Game Competition
The Urban and Local Goverment Program of the World Bank Institute (WBI) is pleased to invite game inventors and game developers from around the world to submit proposals for an instructional and educational game on the subject of street naming and house numbering.
Yup, sounds as dull as dish water but there's a $6,000 prize for the best game. You can create a game board or use cards. You have until the end of February to submit a prototype. It needn't look great, just work. It's targetted at mid career civil servants (sorry- Local Government Practitioners).
"But" you say, I know very little about house numbering and addressing. How can I find out? Fear not, there is a 5 Mb downloadable manual linked on the competition page. Have fun, and if you win, let us know!
