weewar2 Weewar Now Trying this outI applied for this a month or so ago and received my details a week or two after. Basically it’s an online wargame in the Empire type mould. Start with a city or two, build units, expand and capture new bases and try and defeat the opposition. There’s a range of infantry(troopers), tank and artillery units and ships. When you select a unit it shows clearly how far you can move and when you click on a hex, it gives you the option of stay or cancel. However stay actually means move- bit confusing that! Once it’s moved, the piece is grayed out.

Base capturing is easy- just move a trooper in and within a turn or two, it’s yours and you can build there. Building is just a point of buying units with credits, where each base contributes 100 credits per turn.

It’s well implemented, in Ajax I think (JavaScript technology) rather than Flash. Bad Points are that you have to get invited to play by someone who has setup, or setup your own game and then invite friends. You can play by yourself but it’s not much fun but handy for practice. Very nicely implemented, now I just need someone to play against!
