Uncyclopedia – The opposite of Wikipedia
A recent publishing phenomena has been what I call antithetical publishing. Following the best selling book "Eats, Leaves and Shoots" by Lynne Truss (on correct punctuation) it didn't take long for "Eats, Shites & Leaves" by Antal Parody, about the misuse of English to appear.
Well Uncyclopedia is the antithesis of Wikipedia. It's the the content-free encyclopedia that anyone can edit. Still for all that it has 21,000 plus articles of massively varying degrees of humour not dissimilar in tone to say Private Eye, (a British magazine) and theonion.com. There is still time to enter their best article competition which runs for about a wek.
