Trading up From Nothing
This has been done before, where someone traded up from a paperclip to a house in Canada. Someone starts with something small or nothing at all then gets offers to trade it for something else. By doing this incrementally and each time getting something slightly better you can in theory end up with a Rolls Royce or a Bentley. (Real ones not toys or models!).
Tradingnothing is Andrew Henderson's website about doing this and so far he has accepted seven trades since July 2006. Not exactly a fabulously quick way to wealth but a interesting one. Sometimes the journey is better than arriving?
(Update) Andrew is currently looking to trade for a good old car, so if you are looking to get rid of one…
