Shadows of Tikrit
Iraq's last dictator lived in a very opulent manner. The Omar Al Farouk palace was captured by US Soldiers nearly four years ago and this website (and the book it is selling) show the palace a few days after it was captured, before much looting had occurred.
The dozen or so photographs on the site give an idea of how beautiful and grand the palace was.
