Sending a Working Camera Through the Post

postal box Sending a Working Camera Through the PostMost post offices would probably go ape if they knew about this, plus the worry that it might be something not so benign next time.

As an experiment, a box was wired up with a digital camera inside taking a photo through a pin hole every ten seconds. Nearly 7,000 images have been stitched together in a slide show of what the box “saw” on its journey. I’d imagine a fair number of images were excluded- boring or repetitive- 200 shows of the same piece of wall is probably a bit dull, and any taken in darkness as well. But a fascinating idea.
