This is quite remarkable, screenshots of every version of Windows from the ancient version 1.0 (pictured) back over 20 years ago to Vista. It just shows how far we've come in that time- I wonder how many millions of man hours have gone into writing that code?

Nobody took it really seriously until Windows 3.1 appeared about 15 years ago. After that, it just grew and grew.
