Russian Kursk Submarine
In the year 2,000 the Russian submarine Kursk sank following an explosion and eventually all of the crew died. The main reason for the explosion was rust in a torpedo casing which let hydrogen peroxide seep out. Wikipedia explains it in more details (and also provides some interesting conspiracy theories).
The submarine was eventually recovered and these photos show the submarine now. The links go via Google translation as the page is in Russian, but you can see the original photo page in Russian here.
