Roll your Own Maps on Maplib
The excellent google Maps has a facility where you can add your own maps. I covered this with an example a few weeks ago, this quirky website where someone has used pictures of books as a map!
Maplib is a site where you can upload your own map and then add markers. This could be quite useful for providing directions, say on campus or somewhere that needs more details than Google maps provides. It would be great if you could generate a webpage for your own site but for now, all pages are hosted on maplib. Still, it's a neat idea. The map pictured is Nashville.
