Robot Fish Video
These three robot fishes swim very convincingly in an aquarium. The first one looks most fish like but it appears "odd" to me because it looks almost but not quite convincing.
This is a phenomenon called the Uncanny Valley. When robots are made very lifelike but not 100% then we get very repelled by them. There is a piece on Wikipedia about this, and although it's about human robots, my reactions to the first fish seem to fit this pattern.
