Reading books in parts, as they were originally published
Mouseholdwords is a hearkening back to the Victorian era when books were published as serials, ie in parts. Charles Dickens, Wilkie Collins, and William Makepeace Thackeray in England, Alexandre Dumas pere in France, and Fyodor Dostoevsky in Russia all wrote in this way at one time or another.
