PI Displayed in Pixels
You remember Pi I hope, 3.141596 etc etc- the ratio of the circumference to the radius of a circle? Someone has started a new meme of displaying large irrational numbers as pixel pictures. Each pixel is a digit- so you only need 10 colours.
I wonder if the creator of this read Cosmos by Carl Sagan. IIRC, a scfi novel that had a picture stored in the 40 millionth digits of Pi- as proof that the universe as we know it was designed. (Caveat- it's been a long time since I read it, so my memory might be faulty!). Who lnows, maybe if this was reformatted to be 27 or 93 pixels wide, it might contain images. Now wouldn't that be a scary thought!
So expect to see E next (you know 2.7182818…) then the square root of two(1.414…), the golden ratio (1.61…) and so on. you have been warned!
