Photos of Paris Flooded
In 1910, severe rain (obviously early onset global warming!) flooded Paris in France. These photos were taken of the flooded streets.
If you are in Paris and see a sign "Crue 1910" – that shows how high the water rose. There's a page of those plates here and a detailed account (all the electric clocks stopped at the same time because the power station was flooded!) here.
