It's not the oldest website at just 8 years old but the content predates that in print by about 60 years! It is an amazing resource for trivia buffs or just about anyone who wants to know something. It's owned by Pearson Educational who are better known as Prentice Hall, Scott Foresman, Addison Wesley Longman, as well as the Financial Times and Penguin Putnam, so they have a lot of source material to draw from!
