MusicMoz- Music Search Directory
This is a spin-off from the Open Directory Project dmoz.org which covers music and bands. In their words "MusicMoz is a comprehensive directory of all things music, edited by
volunteers. We list, and accept submissions of, music-related reviews,
articles, factual information, biographies, and websites.
You can browse the site using our hierarchy of categories, or use
the search feature to locate the information you're looking for."
It certainly is comprehensive, and like dmoz they accept people as editors. If you are an expert on your favourite band and think you can enhance musicmoz then sign up. There are three staff (voluntary, unpaid) editors.
