Model Village with Virtual Village
Located in Beaconsfield, (not far from the M40/M25) a few miles outside London, Bekonscot is the world's oldest model village and railway a 1.5 acre miniature landscape of farms and fields, castles and churches, woods and lakes. Models are 1/2th scale at 1" to the foot and built by model makers there. There's also a 1/32nd scale model railway. (Gauge 1) with over 400 metres of main and branch railway.
It's closed now until February 2007 but you can play the virtual Bekonscot, a kind of very simple Sim City (in Flash) that's pictured.
