Meme Chart of X is the new Y
A meme is an idea that catches on and spreads rapidly. Nursery rhymes, epic poems, new gadgets (Iphone!), phrases such as"Wazzup". One such phrase has the formula "X is the new Y" as in "bad is the new good".

Now someone at TheDiagram.com, an online magazine has created a big graphic of lots of "X Is the New Y" and that's what this links to. Hey, how about "Portent is the new Cool!" (er No…!)
