Looking into the Sun!

Link to Surface of the Sun websiteScience has always had keen "amateurs"  as well as the fulkltime paid professionals. I'm not in anyway knocking these unpaid, intensely keen individuals. Remember Shoemaker-Levy 9 – the comet that hit Jupiter? The Levy in that (David Levy) is an amateur astronomer who has spotted 22 comets (independently or with the ShokeMakers- Eugene and Carolyn). Also Thomas Jefferrson, Arthur C Clarke, Michael Faraday and Joseph Priestley are but some of the names oif amateurs who became famous.

Well Michael Mozina is another amateur (I believe- correct me if I'm wrong) with a "heliocentric" interest. He is interested in the sun and its composition. There is a theory that the sun is not just gas but solid iron and other chemicals. See for yourself on his site.
