Live in or Near London? Take the Tube Challenge
Fancy getting in the Guinness Book of Records? Could you travel through all 275 stations according to the rules. It includes all of the stations served by the underground trains that must be visited but you can use overground trains, your feet or public transport. No cars, bikes, taxis or other forms of transport. You've got to keep a log book and have an independent witness .
The current record is 18hr 35min 43sec by Geoff Marshall of Epsom, Surrey and Neil Blake of Deptford, London on 5 May 2004. This clearly changed Geoff's life so much that he is on a years sabbatical in the USA.
Geoff is also famous for the anagram tube maps that brought the wrath of London Underground's lawyers down on his head so maybe that's why he's there (only joking!) . Geoff's blog is here. He's a nice guy and answers his email! If you want to see the maps they are here on Flickr.com.
The title is for those lawyers and comes from here.
