The person to show you how to make something is someone who has been thee and done it. If you've made something and can document it with photos and instructions then why not upload it here for others to see.
There are approx 1,500 projects here already, all sorts of things ranging from invisible shelves, tattoo guns, potato cannons and many many more, some useful, some a bit whimsical (Knex machine gun?). I used to make candle tanks with a cotton bobbin, a candle, a match and an elastic band and water rockets (like in the very first story on Portent), so this site definitelky appeals to me.
