Hoax Devices
This website has been inspired by recent events in Boston, USA. it's not just famous for tea parties! As part of a Guerilla Marketing campaign, Turner Broadcasting had packages containing these magnetic lights placed in 10 cities in support
of Adult Swim's animated television show Aqua Teen Hunger Force. They
have been in place for two to three weeks in Boston, New York, Los
Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Seattle, Portland, Austin, San Francisco,
and Philadelphia.
Only in Boston, the locals got antsy- thought they were terrorist devices and it all got out of hand! Wikipedia has a piece on it.
The website is a collection of (currently 33) fictitious hoax devices including the Aqua Teen device. Very clever!
