EChalk is an online educational resource for teachers and students. It also hosts some amazing optical illusions, each implemented in flash. The one pictured is a simple rotating grid with a blue/green flashing dot in the centre and three stationary yellow dots. If you stare at the flashing dot, eventually the yellow dots start vanishing and reappearing at random. They never actually vanish from the screen, it is just your brain playing tricks but one heck on an effect.
