Dropspots- Geocaching by Google Maps
As they say "A dropspot is a kind of alternative mailbox. It’s a hiding place in a public space, where people can leave things for exchange. Anything. It’s a wierd and wonderful way to add personal character to the streets that we live in. Stash something fun and see what you get back.".
In other words it's geocaching, but using Google Maps and clues instead of a GPS receiver Its a nice looking site as well. There are dropspots in many of the countries of the world, including a white box in the Faroe Isles which reads " It should take a time to get there , but I'm sure its worth it.At the source of thelittle river you must look NNW. You will see a rock formation that looks rather strange. Go to the smallest rock and search in the surroundings of that small rock."
