Directory of Open Access Journals!
Now this is a rare gem of a site of the type that I really love to discover. Developed by the University of Lund libraries (in Sweden), it is a specialist list of journals where the right of users are to "read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles". If the journals' don't have these rights, they aren't in the directory. These are free, full text, quality controlled scientific and scholarly journals.
There are currently 2423 journals in the directory of which 709 journals can be searched at the article level making a current total of 118,178 articles included in the DOAJ service.
Journals cover the gamut of scientific subjects- namely :- Agriculture and Food Sciences, Arts and Architecture, Biology and Life Sciences, Business and Economics, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Sciences, General Works, Health Sciences, History and Archaeology, Languages and Literatures, Law and Political Science, Mathematics and Statistics, Philosophy and Religion, Physics and Astronomy, Science General, Social Sciences and Technology and Eng.
