Dark Passage – Exploring Ruined and Abandoned Places
We don't see this quite so much in the UK now, at least not in London nowadays because the pressure on housing means that developers are constantly trying to find old ruins and redevelop them. In places like the USA, Russia there are a lot of old ruins, ghost town, abandoned trains etc that are just left to rot.
There is a fascination about such places- what were the people like, is there anything of value left( <g>) and there are a number of websites dedicated to exploring and documenting such places. Dark passages is one such, withs old schools, jails, trains, reservoir, shipyards etc and great photos of them. It has has sewers of Vienna!
