Brilliant Free Multiplayer 3D Tank Game!
As games go they don't get any simpler than this- just drive a tank round fields using your cursor keys to steer and ctrl to fire. Try it against computer controlled bots or real players. I suspect you'll need a broadband connection to be able to play decently. It's great fun and of course free. I came second on my first game!
Part of the challenge is avoiding the trees which stop you in your tracks. It's easy enough to reverse but you are an easy target when you are stopped- the trick to doing well is never stop, and don't be predictable in your moves. Also definitely avoid driving in the sea as well- that kills you!
You will need the Shockwave download installed but that's easy enough to get (it's also free).
