This is an interesting website. Artists against 419. A 419 is the Nigerian scam where they promise you that they have several million dollars that they need to get out of the country and will pay you a % if you help. As with all things that seem too good to be true, this is. Along the way they ask you for various small fees – a bit here and there and string you along getting money out of you. They have even kidnapped and killed people. There's plenty of information about avoiding this and other scams here.
I love the idea of their Flash mobs against fake banks- the ones that send you an email saying there is something wrong with your account and that you must log in and sort it. Of course it's a fake bank and they get your account details and then clean your account out. Nasty. Since December 2003 they have swamped fake banks causing them to hit their bandwidth limit or making admins notice and then close down the website.
