Another Gift Suggestion Website – Giftgen.com
This is very well done, and a site I know I shall return to often. Like Imagini (covered in a portent story here) it helps you select gifts. It's nowhere as colourful as Imagini but makes up for that by being very comprehensive. Make four selections (amount, age, type of person and their sex) and it generates up to 1,000 suggestions with relevant links to websites.
I've written this type of website and it is very much a tip of the iceberg- you only see a small amount of what goes on to get this data into their databases. Very impressive.
Apparently it is receiving a lot of traffic after being featured on Radio 2 so may be a bit variable in its response speed.
