An Amazing Pixel Art Project
Mr Wong's Soup apartments was a spectacular pixel art project where 406 artists each designed a pixel apartment to fit into a giant tower. The picture above gives some idea of the scale. The big picture on the right is the little blob a quarter way up!
The overall image was something like 8,000 pixels high x 400 pixels wide. That's (about 192 pixels per floor making this virtual building over 2 Kilometers high. Sadly the project was terminated two years ago (probably due to bandwidth hosting costs!) but it still lives on, a testament to the artists. You could spend hours looking at the intricate pixel art. Just an amazing piece of art.
