Amazing Self Built Clock
Marcel Betrisey is a Swiss maker of clocks, pendulums and watches. L'Anachrone pictured is a big mechanical clock that took 18 months to build and has 1600 parts, weighs 300 kilos (660 pounds) and uses 95 ball bearings. A pendulum swings to let one ball drop and well you can read the rest of the description on his website.
Thisis a very impressive piece of work. You can watch a video of it as in action. I bet it’s quite noisy with all those steel balls in motion.
