Amazing Death Star Designer!
This is a marketing promotion for Ubisoft's 'Star Wars Lethal Alliance' PSP & Nintendo DS game but it is so well done, it has earned it's place in portent. Written in flash the designer lets you build a custom Death Star. (As in Star Wars Death Star). Silly name really, it's only a Star for a few microseconds at the end of the first film and that's hardly by design!
If you come up with a good design (and the review process is pretty scathing), you can submit your design online. I guess there might be a prize for the highest scoring design. You can customise your Death Star with these bits and a budget of 10 billion credits.
- Hull Upgrades (Bigger and Nastier)
- Power Systems (More Power and more deadlier)
- Superweapons (Super Deadlier)
- Defensive Systems (Not that you'll even need them)
- Naval Facilities ( Gotta dock somewhere)
- Personnel Facilities (and HR facilities no doubt!)
Whoever designed this did a very good job. It's excellent.
