Agas Map of Early London

The Agas map shows the streets, sites, and significant boundaries of late sixteenth-century and early seventeenth-century London, complete with tags to show significant locations. This is an academic work at the University of Victoria in British Columbia, and the website is administered and maintained by Dr. Janelle Jenstad, University of Victoria.
Note: It is not the policy of Portent.org to infringe copyright or help it, though we are supporters of Creative Commons. I like to illustrate entries on this site with an image from the sites referred to and when those sites are a bit restrictive about copyright use of images, I will include spoiler text or show a part of the image. All images shown are reduced to a width of 368 pixels or smaller.
