A Site that will Rock you..
Unelss you're a woman, and into precious stones, minerals possibly aren't your cup of tea. But if you want a resource with information (and photos- – thats Gowerite pictured BTW) on 4,442 minerals, or you wish to learn about Struntz or New Dana classifications this is definitely the site for you. There's also a periodic table (as nice looking as the one I revealed here) that will let you choose minerals by chemical element content.
I did a quick search for minerals containing sodium (Chemical Symbol: NA) and the site returned 903 along with molecular weight and chemical formula. Eg Calciouranoite is (Ca,Ba,Pb)U2O7·5(H2O)
This is a pretty impressive site if minerals are your thing or as a research site for school or university work.
