A Beautiful Periodic Table
Theodore Gray has assembled photos (and taken some) of most of the elements to compile a gorgeous looking periodic table and now sells it as various size posters, up to 53" in width using a high resolution printer. The poster is 1.4 GB in size (bet that thrashes a PC when editing!) using a brand new printer. I've added the three element images below to give you an idea of what they look like. You can see them even clearer on his website.
In case you don't recognise the name Theodore is famous from Wolfram Research and also having created a wooden block periodic table and won an Ig Nobel prize for it in 2002.
