30 Seconds- Rubber Band Guns
These are quite fun looking products. Designed of course to inflict pain at a distance. Firing a single elastic band is ok but multiple- well that is real fun.
I had a 4 shot rubber band gun as a kid. It had an ingenious zig zag notches mechanism. When you pulled the trigger, a rectangular piece of plastic inside the gun moved backwards. This had four notches on it and was fitted so that its notches were arranged between 4 other notches of the same size at the back of the gun. You loaded the gun with 4 elastic bands, stretching them from the front of the gun to each notch on the back of the gun. Pulling the trigger moved the piece of plastic back and it stretched each band moved it out of its notch and up into the next notch. The top one was released.
